Since 2015, Microsoft unveiled a program aimed at introducing people to find work in the ever-changing tech world. Microsoft Leap is a 16-week learning program that is targeted to individuals with a prior foundational level in technical training. To gain and develop skills in the world of technology, Microsoft Leap apprenticeship program will offer you on the job training in various pathways to you anywhere in the world. All you need to do is visit the Microsoft Leap website or attend their webinars. You will be required to make a submission of your application and if successful, you will begin class learning by Microsoft Leap instructors. The class are conducted in virtual, and or in any of the global locations.
Learning modules
As earlier indicated, an apprentice will learn more about emerging trends in technology, skills in trouble shooting and offering solutions to matters technology, and the bids and nuts of your personal career pathway in tech world.At the end of intensive class learning, learners will progressively be assigned to a Microsoft team or to any of the many enterprises partner organizations. This is to offer one an opportunity to balance and put in practice both the on the job learning experience and your personal development journey plan.
Employment
You will be fully employed by Microsoft or any of its partner companies. There is no automatic guarantee, but 98% of apprentice get work with tech industry where 2/3 get full time job with Microsoft or its partners. Depending on the career pathway you choose from, you will be provided with a laptop and accorded access to all the corporate network facilities.
Support during the apprenticeship
Your journey during the learning process will get support from very important people who will help mold you. The first in your apprenticeship journey will be the business program manager who will give you support and advocacy.Your team lead will appraise you on project team, expectations and feedback. Lastly, mentors will be there to give you an ear and advice and offer moral support to you.

It is through this that there will be advancement in engineering, innovation and inclusivity which is a culture at Microsoft.Microsoft Leap participants are change catalysts and change multipliers. They bring a diverse set of personal experiences and cognitive abilities to their work as well as to their colleagues and communities at Microsoft. They play a vital role in advancing engineering processes, accelerating innovation and activating inclusion as a part of Microsoft culture.
Who are called for this program?
No one is excluded to attend this apprenticeship program on the basis of age, race, religion or gender. You are all welcome. If you are a stay-at-home parent, or somebody who wants to give a second shot in building a career, then this your chance.
